Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Limited has launched ‘Siddhartha Mahila Samriddhi Karja’ with an aim to facilitate women-led micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) access to finance.
The scheme is targeted at women-owned and led businesses, which is believed to help promote women entrepreneurship.
Under this scheme, women entrepreneurs will be able to avail loan facilities in different categories. Under this scheme, women entrepreneurs can get loans up to Rs 15 lakh without collateral. Loans up to Rs 25 lakh will be available on the basis of partial collateral. The bank has said that the loan facility can be availed up to Rs 50 lakh with full collateral.
KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Limited (Siddhartha Bank) has developed a special ‘Scorecard’ evaluation system with the technical assistance of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in order to make the loan flow scientific and easy.
The system will not only consider collateral as the main basis of traditional banking practices, but also analyses the nature of the business, operational experience, financial position, cash flow and capacity of the entrepreneur.
According to the bank, this provision will give priority to the business potential by reducing the situation of being deprived of financial access in the absence of collateral. For any information about the scheme, customers can contact Siddhartha Care, the bank’s 24-hour customer care center.
