This is the story of Prabal Shiwakoti of Dolakha Singati. After completing his higher education from Kathmandu, Prabal returned to the district, thinking of doing something in his own place. After returning to the district, he opened a hardware shop in the district headquarters Charikot and settled there.
His enthusiasm and perseverance were impressive. Because of this, the business was doing well. Prabal became a good businessman in the district. His reach and position also became stronger.
He took life insurance through friends he met during the business. He was insured with a sum assured of Rs 10 million and was also able to get a refund every 4 years. His business was doing very well.
However, sometimes even small amounts of money are very important. The same thing happened to Prabal. We have to increase investment in the business. He borrowed more money from the bank. However, he was under a lot of stress due to the lack of money he had taken from the bank.
In the midst of this tension, Prabal had asked friends and relatives for a loan. It was during the economic downturn. All of them showed their own practical problems.
There was no money from anywhere. He wondered how he would save money at bedtime. He opened his laptop and looked at his emails. In the meantime, he went to an e-mail and was stuck. The e-mail came from the life insurance company.
The email reads, “Since the first 4 years have passed, please contact the nearest branch office with necessary documents to withdraw the first tranche of the amount received from the company.” It was as if God had blessed him in times of crisis. He slept soundly that night.
In the morning, he hurried home to the life insurance company and went to claim the first installment. The company verified the necessary documents.
After this, the amount of the first installment was returned to his account.
He couldn’t believe it when the money was transferred in front of him so soon, that too as much as he needed. And then checked mobile banking. The first instalment of the insurance had been deposited in his bank account.
Prabal’s happiness knew no bounds. Safe and sure, he returned to his shop. And with the money from life insurance, he expanded the business. After that, he was able to work according to his goals and plans.
That’s why Prabal says today, “Life insurance is more important than earning friends and relatives.” ’
He said, “Today, when I am facing difficulties in moving forward according to my thinking, the life insurance company is the only friend and relatives who have supported me.” And why don’t you make life insurance a friend of the crisis by doing life insurance on time?”
