Kathmandu. Oil prices have soared around the world since the US and Israel invaded Iran.
Brent crude and Nimex Light Sweet Oil were both up more than 10 percent when Asian markets opened on Monday morning. However, it was a little less frequent.
By 5 a.m., Brent crude was up nearly 9 percent to about $79.30 a barrel. While Nimex rose about 8.5 percent to about $72.70 per barrel.
The conflict between Iran and Israel continues. Both countries are attacking each other. Israel and the United States first attacked Iran on Saturday morning.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed in a US and Israeli strike. Iran’s army chief Abdul Rahim Mousavi and Defense Minister Major General Aziz Nassirzadeh were also killed. –Agency
