Kathmandu. The third convention of the Asian Life Insurance Professional Agents Association Insurers Committee has elected a new executive committee under the chairmanship of Damodar Lamichhane.
The convention held in Hetauda on Saturday elected a 28-member new central working committee. Lamichhane has been elected president for the third consecutive term. Sita Bhandari, Santa Lal Rai, Karna Hamal, Dhruba Giri, Bishnu Kumar Karki and Prabin Gautam are the senior vice-presidents of the new working committee. Likewise, Khuma Budha has been elected secretary, Janak Lal Pandey joint secretary and Govinda Pantha treasurer.
Umananda Rajbanshi, Usha Pangeni, Ashok Thapa, Ram Bahadur Shrestha, Shreedhar Ghimire, Khuda Prasad Dangal, Deepak Kumar Lamichhane, Kapil Poudel, Deepak Aryal, Narendra Bahadur Thapa, Durga Thapa, Surya Shrestha, Bishwa Raj Acharya, Sita Gaire, Tika Gaha, Jishnu Baral, Chandra Shekhar Sah and Jasiram BK are the members of the executive committee.
According to the Insurance Committee, provincial working committees have been formed in all seven provinces as per the provincial structure.
