Kathmandu. The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has been carrying out its activities in collaboration with the Government of Nepal for creating an industrial environment, promoting innovation, creating employment and overall economic development in Nepal. The CNI has been working in various sectors related to the economy by forming committees/councils/rum including industry, revenue, infrastructure, tourism, women leadership forum and giving various activities and policy suggestions for the respective sectors.
In this connection, the Koshi Province government, the Ministry of Social Development, Biratnagar Metropolitan City, the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in collaboration with the Department of Industry have jointly organized the National Level Women Leadership Summit 2026 in Biratnagar, Koshi Province on May 4. The conference is being organized by CNI Women’s Leadership Forum.
Speaking at a press meet organized at CNI on Thursday, President Birendra Raj Pandey said the conference would focus on agriculture, skills, creativity and digital innovation towards sustainable prosperity. The conference will focus on women’s leadership development, capacity building, local agriculture, skills, innovation and entrepreneurship promotion and the exhibition of indigenous products produced by entrepreneurs.
Inspirational success stories of women entrepreneurs, a panel discussion on digital innovation including FonePay, an exhibition of indigenous goods, networking among entrepreneurs, policymakers, private sector and development partners will be the highlights of the conference.
The keynote speaker of the conference will be Pawan Golyan, Founder Chairman of Golyan Group and the special guest is Sabina Kafle.
The Summit will bring together women entrepreneurs, policy makers, development partners, financial institutions and entrepreneurs to chart the path of inclusive economic growth and sustainable prosperity.
