Why did the price of crude oil increase in Asia despite the announcement of the ceasefire?

Kathmandu. Crude oil prices in Asia have risen again at a time when the US-Iran ceasefire is going through a critical phase.

Brent crude rose 3.3% to $97.90 a barrel on Thursday morning. West Texas Intermediate rose 3.2% to $97.55.
