Kathmandu. The names of the probable ministers in the government led by senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Balen Shah have started doing the rounds. However, the party has officially made it public.
Shah will take oath as the Prime Minister at 12:34 pm today at Sheetal Niwas. After this, the ministers of the new government will take the oath.
According to party sources, the names of the probable ministers are being finalized. Dr Swarnim Wagle has been appointed as the Finance Minister in the Balen-led government. According to a source, Shah and party President Rabi Lamichhane have agreed to appoint Sishir Khanal as the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Sobita Gautam as the Minister for Law.
Similarly, the names of 3 people are doing the rounds for the post of Home Minister. According to sources, discussions are underway in the party to make one of party vice-president Dolendra Prasad Aryal, general secretary Sunil Lamsal and Sudhan Gurung the home minister. “There is a strong possibility that Aryal will become the Home Minister,” said a source.
Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Sasmit Pokharel, Ganesh Poudel, Bikram Khanal, Nisha Dangi, Geeta Chaudhary and Sita Badi are the probable ministers for the post. The new ministers will take oath at 2:15 pm today.
