Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Wednesday. NEPSE index increased by 10.30 points to close at 2648.90.
With the rise in the market, 10 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while three have fallen. Today, the life insurance group increased by 1.79 percent and the business group decreased by 0.89 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 157 companies increased and 90 companies declined. Shares of 13 companies remained stable today.
About Rs 4.5 billion was traded in the market. Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Ltd has made the most turnover.
