Kathmandu. The stock market rose by a marginal point on Wednesday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 4.79 points to close at 2667.97.
With the rise in the market, 5 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 8 sub-groups decreased. The trading group rose the most by 1.60 percent while the development bank group fell the most by 0.50 percent.
Share prices of 122 companies increased and 143 companies declined. Shares of 11 companies remained stable on the day.
The market was traded worth more than Rs 4.40 billion today. Solu Hydropower Company has been traded the most.
