Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Monday, the first trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 1.20 points to close at 2,684.33.
Eight sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 5 sub-groups declined. On the day, the mutual fund group was the most advanced by 0.49 percent, while the trading group was the biggest decreaser by 0.93 percent.
Today, the share prices of 126 companies increased and 141 companies declined. Shares of 7 companies remained stable on this day.
More than Rs 4.5 billion was traded in the market today. Reliance Spinning Mills was the top trader.
