Kathmandu. The stock market rose by single digits on Tuesday. The NEPSE index increased by 7.25 points to close at 2726.49.
With the rise in the market, 5 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 8 sub-groups decreased. On the day, the trading group was the top gainer by 2.88 percent, while the mutual fund group fell the most by 0.71 percent.
Shares of 103 companies increased and 162 declined. Shares of 12 companies remained stable on the day.
On this day, the market has traded more than Rs 6.67 billion. Reedy Power has the highest turnover.
