Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Tuesday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 26.16 points to close at 2,674.48.
One sub-group of NEPSE sub-group has increased while the remaining 12 sub-groups have fallen. On the day, the mutual fund group fell the most by 0.45 percent, while the production and processing group fell the most by 1.92 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 22 companies increased and 239 companies declined. Shares of 11 companies remained stable today.
The market was traded at Rs 4.36 billion today. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
