Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 11.37 points to close at 2755.41.
The NEPSE sub-group has increased by 4 while the sub-group of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 9 percent. The finance group saw the highest fall of 2.77 per cent, while the hydropower group saw the biggest decline of 0.74 per cent.
Shares of 74 companies rose and 184 declined. Shares of 11 companies remained stable on the day.
On this day, the market was traded worth Rs 5.62 billion. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
