Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Tuesday. On the day, the NEPSE index increased by 22.21 points to close at 2777.58.
A total of 12 sub-groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased while one has fallen. The other group increased by 3.84 percent while the production and processing group decreased by 0.42 percent.
Shares of 184 companies rose on the day, while the shares of 77 companies declined. Shares of 10 companies remained stable today.
The market was traded at Rs 5.26 billion today. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
