Kathmandu. The stock market rose marginally on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The NEPSE index increased by 1.77 points to close at 2731.94.
With the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 7 sub-groups have increased while 6 sub-groups have fallen. On the day, the non-life insurance group increased the most by 0.64 percent while the mutual fund group fell the most by 0.33 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 127 companies increased while the shares of 120 companies declined. Shares of 22 companies are stable today.
The market was traded worth Rs 3.09 billion today. The highest turnover was made by Union Hydropower.
