Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits today. The NEPSE index increased by 13.51 points to close at 2812.34.
Out of 13 sub-groups, six sub-groups have increased while seven have fallen. On the day, the hydropower group increased by 1.59 percent while the life insurance group saw the maximum decline of 0.31 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 132 companies increased and 113 companies declined. Shares of 17 companies remained stable today.
More than Rs 12 billion was traded in the market today. Reedy Power has the highest turnover.
