Kathmandu. On the first trading day of the week, the stock market rose by a marginal digit. On this day, the NEPSE index increased by 4.45 percent to close at 2824.90 points.
With the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 9 sub-groups have increased while 4 sub-groups have fallen. The hotel and tourism group fell the most by 2.83 per cent and 0.62 per cent respectively.
On this day, the share prices of 124 companies increased and 130 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 9 companies are stable.
The market was traded worth more than Rs 14.32 billion today. Greenlife Hydropower has the highest turnover.
