Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on the last trading day before the election. The NEPSE index increased by 38.52 points to close at 2,712.49.
Following the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 12 sub-groups have increased while one sub-group has fallen. The hydropower group was the top gainer on the day, while the trading group fell 0.84 percent.
Shares of 254 companies have increased and 6 have fallen. On this day, the share prices of 2 companies are stable.
Around Rs 6.25 billion was traded in the market today. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
