Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. The NEPSE index increased by 27.19 points to close at 2,708.70.
A total of 12 sub-groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased while one has fallen. Non-life insurance and other sub-groups saw the biggest increase of 1.98 per cent each, while the trading group fell by 0.48 per cent.
On this day, the share prices of 201 companies increased while 55 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 4 companies are stable.
More than Rs 11.5 billion was traded in the market today. The highest turnover was made by Union Hydropower.
