Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Tuesday. The NEPSE index rose by 11.96 points to close at 2,578.73.
On the rise in the market, 11 groups in the NEPSE sub-group increased while 2 declined. The trading group increased by 0.82 percent and the non-life insurance group fell by 0.06 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 169 companies increased while 95 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 15 companies are stable.
The market has been traded worth Rs 3.13 billion today. Ghalemdi Hydro has the highest turnover.
