Kathmandu. Salpa Development Bank has published unrevised financial statements for the current fiscal year 2082. For the third quarter (July-March) of 83.
According to the details, the bank is incurring a loss of Rs 31.89 lakh till the third quarter. In the previous year, 2081. The bank had a loss of Rs 35.84 lakh till the same period of 82. The loss has come down slightly.
The bank’s operating loss stood at Rs 31.89 lakh during the review period. The bank’s operating loss was Rs 35.84 lakh in the same period last year.
In the first nine months of the current year, the bank’s net interest income stood at Rs 5.57 crore. This is 6.77 per cent higher than the previous year. The bank’s net interest income was Rs 5.22 crore in the same period last year.
The bank’s distributable profit till April was negative at Rs 43.48 crore. In the previous year too, the bank’s distributable profit was negative at Rs 56.87 crore.
The bank’s retained earnings stood at Rs 91.33 crore with a paid-up capital of Rs 52.23 crore, while the reserve stood at Rs 2.87 crore. As of mid-July last year, the bank’s retained earnings were negative at Rs 1.09 crore, while the reserves stood at Rs 2.66 crore.
The bank collected deposits of Rs 1.49 billion and disbursed loans of Rs 1.19 billion till mid-April of the current financial year. The bank collected deposits of Rs 1.38 billion and extended loans of Rs 1.09 billion till mid-July of the previous year.
As of March, the bank’s bad loans have come down to 0.10 percent. In the same period last year, the bad loans were 2.27 percent.
The bank’s annualized earnings per share (EPS) stood at negative at Rs 0.61 during the review period. The bank’s EPS was negative at Rs 1.02 in the same period last year. The bank’s net worth per share stood at Rs 103.75.
