Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Wednesday. The NEPSE index increased by 14 points to close at 2590.29.
As many as 11 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while one group has fallen. One group has remained stable. On the day, the development bank group increased by 1.37 percent, while the investment group decreased by 0.46 percent.
Shares of 195 companies rose on the day while shares of 60 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 19 companies are stable.
The market was traded at Rs 4.17 billion today. Himalayan Bank debentures were traded the most.
