Insurance is a means of obtaining compensation in the event of an event by a person or community suffering from an uncertain risk of the same nature.
Insurance Claims Process
In case of any loss or loss, the insured should immediately inform the insurer through telephone, SMS, e-mail or any other means.
In case of a partial claim of insurance, a photocopy of the policy and in case of a full claim, the original insurance policy should be submitted to the insurer.
All the details of the claim should be submitted in the insurance claim form.
In case of death before the expiry of the term of the insurance policy, the insured should submit the relationship certificate, death certificate of the insured person, police report in case of accident, post-mortem report by the doctor and as required by the required documents and proofs.
In the case of non-life insurance, the documents should be submitted after completing the process as mentioned in the concerned insurance policy.
You have to submit other necessary details as specified by the Nepal Insurance Authority.
Once the claim is settled, the claim is paid by cheque.
For the claim payment process, the insured has to submit the following documents to the insurer:

- Fully Filled Insurance Claim Form
- Original copy of policy in case of full claim and photocopy of policy in case of partial claim
- Evidence of damage
- Police report if a criminal incident occurred
- In the case of non-life insurance, if the insurer had conducted the survey, the survey report in the case of non-life insurance, the document of collective guarantee life
- Relationship certificate and death certificate in case of insurance
- Other required documents.
