Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has said that it is closely monitoring the operation and management of Nepal Investment Mega Bank.
The central bank has made public its views on Nepal Investment Mega Bank. “It has come to the notice of the NRB regarding the indictment filed at the Kathmandu District Court against the Directors and CEO of the said bank,” the statement reads. ’
The NRB has clarified that there is no situation of any complications in day-to-day operations of the bank as the liquidity position and financial strength indicators of the bank are satisfactory as per the criteria set by the Rastra Bank.
As the case is currently sub-judice at the District Court, further discussions and legal opinion will be taken from the Rastra Bank based on the nature, duration and seriousness of the bank’s operation, and necessary measures will be taken for the operation of the bank as per the law.
