Kathmandu. Action will be taken against any organization or company that conducts adventure and recreational games without taking permission.
Issuing a notice, the Department of Tourism has warned of action against any organization or company conducting adventure and entertainment sports without taking permission. According to the Department, there have been complaints that adventurous and recreational games are being conducted without analyzing the safety standards.
According to the Tourism Act and Industry Service Delivery Directive, permission should be obtained from the Department of Tourism to organize such adventurous and entertaining games. Such adventure and recreational sports include bungee jumping, swinging, canyoning, sky diving, zip line, jeep coaster, jet ski, motorboat, etc.
The Department has notified the companies and organizations conducting such adventurous and recreational games without taking permission to come in contact with the necessary documents within 30 days. The department has stated that action will be taken against such companies if they do not come into contact within the stipulated time.
