Kathmandu. The Vishal Group Foundation, established by a business group Vishal Group, has decided to bear the medical expenses of 10 patients who need financial assistance for corneal transplant surgery.
The Foundation and Nepal Eye Programme, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to ensure access of disadvantaged, vulnerable and senior citizens to eye services.
As per the agreement, Vishal Group Foundation will provide financial assistance to 10 patients who need financial support for corneal transplant surgery.TAG_OPEN_div_9 Likewise, a two-day eye check-up camp would be conducted for 131 senior citizens from Nisahaya Sewa Sadan, Old Age Home, Old Age Home, Dioma Jagat Old Age Home and Siddhi Sewa among other institutions. The Foundation has also agreed to provide support for cataract surgery of first 25 of the eligible patients identified during eye examination.
