Kathmandu. The devastating floods have caused huge loss of life and property in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and surrounding areas. The Vishal Group has expressed deep condolences to the families who lost their relatives in this disaster and expressed solidarity with all those affected. It also wished speedy recovery to all those injured and affected by the floods.
Vishal Group has donated Rs 2.51 crore to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support the ongoing rescue, relief and rehabilitation work. VG Foundation, the social responsibility arm of the Vishal Group, will provide 5,000 boxes containing essential items worth Rs 1 crore to the flood victims. The relief package will include food, daily essentials and hygiene items required by the affected families during the immediate rehabilitation period. Apart from this, Vishal Group will also donate 2,000 blankets and 1,000 shawls to the flood-affected people.
Through this financial support and material relief program, Vishal Group and VG Foundation reiterate their commitment to stand by the community in times of crisis and support the post-disaster rescue and recovery efforts.
