Kathmandu. U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said on Sunday that talks with Iran were “unsuccessful.” He said he was leaving with “the last and best offer.”
“We’ve been working on this for the last 21 hours and we’ve had a lot of important discussions with the Iranian side, which is a positive thing,” Vance said. “
“But sadly, we couldn’t reach an agreement. “I think it’s worse news for Iran than for the United States,” he said.
The U.S. team returned home without reaching a concrete agreement.
