Meanwhile, the demand for Trump’s resignation is also gaining momentum in the US. US Senator Chris Murphy described the end of the war against Iran as a “complete capitulation” of President Trump. He said on the US TV channel CNN that it gave Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz.
The US senator claimed that he was not telling the truth. “Trump has agreed to give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz if we accept even some part of Iran’s demands,” Murphy said.
Meanwhile, US House of Representatives Gwen Moore criticized President Trump after the ceasefire. He called for the impeachment of Trump by Congress, disqualifying him from the presidency. “Donald Trump must be removed from office by any means necessary,” Moore said.
