Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has called Iran’s proposal to end the war “completely unacceptable”.
“I just read a response from the so-called ‘representatives’ of Iran,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. I don’t like it, it’s completely unacceptable. ’
Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that Iran had made the proposal through Pakistan. Pakistan is acting as a mediator on this issue.
The resolution included an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, an end to the U.S. naval blockade, and guarantees that Iran would not be attacked again. Earlier, an official Iranian source told Al Jazeera that Iran’s proposal was “genuine and positive”.
It is noteworthy that Iran and the United States currently have a ceasefire in place, but they have not yet reached an agreement to end the war. –Agency
