Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Rotary Club of Dilli Bazaar in association with Nepal Investment Securities (Broker No. 19) organized a two-day exchange training and interaction program on the occasion of Global Money Week.
The program organized at Dilli Bazaar Kanya College in Kathmandu enthusiastically participated in the undergraduate level. The program was presided over by Rotary Club of Dilli Bazaar President Prem Oli and Past President Dr. Parthishwor Prasad Timilsina delivered the welcome speech. Mr. Krishna Bhandari, CEO of 19th Venture Ltd. delivered the vote of thanks and concluding remarks.
Former Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) Spokesperson Niraj Giri and Journalist Arjun Timilsina acted as trainers on basic knowledge of share market, investment method, risk management and selection of suitable company. Past President Indira Parajuli and College Principal Aparajita Aryal also extended their best wishes on the occasion.
Former President Sagarnidhi Tiwari, Past President Lilanath Sharma, Secretary Sandhya Rajbhandari, Joint Secretary Bishnu Bahadur Karki, Rotarian Bishnu Parajuli, Engineer Rabindra Raj Parajuli and others were present on the occasion.
The participating students said that the program was very useful, informative and inspiring. Some of them expressed their gratitude to the organizers, saying that they had the opportunity to understand the stock market clearly for the first time. At the end of the program, certificates were distributed to all participants.
According to the organizers, such programs play an important role in not only educating the youth to invest properly but also inculcate savings habits, increase financial literacy and motivate them to become self-reliant.
