Kathmandu. On Friday, the last trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits. On this day, the NEPSE index increased by 16.38 points to close at 2758.49.
Following the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 12 sub-groups have increased while one group has fallen. The hydropower group increased the most by 1.29 percent while the trading group decreased by 0.42 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 203 companies increased and 57 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 8 companies are stable.
Today, around Rs 4.5 billion was traded in the market. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
