Kathmandu. The stock market rose by single digits on Thursday. On the day, the NEPSE index increased by 6.94 points to close at 2718.16.
With the rise in the market, 8 sub-groups in the NEPSE sub-group have increased and 5 have decreased. The non-life insurance group saw a decline of 0.56 percent, while the trading group was the highest on the day by 1.57 percent.
Today, the share prices of 155 companies increased while 102 companies declined. Shares of 12 companies remained stable on the day.
On this day, Rs 2.93 billion was traded in the market. The highest turnover has been done by NRN Infrastructure.
