Kathmandu. The stock market rose by single digits on Tuesday. The NEPSE index increased by 8.78 points to close at 2,712.86.
With the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 7 sub-groups have increased while 6 sub-groups have fallen. The hydropower group increased the most by 1.02 percent while the trade group increased the most by 0.29 percent.
Share prices of 162 companies increased while the prices of 90 companies declined. Shares of 16 companies remained stable on the day.
On this day, the market was traded at Rs 3.43 billion. Solu Hydropower Company has the highest turnover.
