Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Tuesday. The NEPSE index decreased by 26.16 points to close at 2,770.26.
Following the decline, 12 sub-groups in the NEPSE sub-group decreased while only one sub-group increased. The hotel and tourism group decreased the most by 2.56 percent while the other group increased by 0.73 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 42 companies increased and 213 companies declined. Shares of 14 companies remained stable today.
More than Rs 6.5 billion was traded in the market today. Palpa Cement Ltd was traded the most.
