Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Monday. The NEPSE index decreased by 26.07 points to close at 2,798.83 points.
Following the decline, 12 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group decreased while one sub-group group increased. The manufacturing and processing group increased by 0.25 per cent while the banking group saw a decline of 1.61 per cent.
On this day, the share prices of 48 companies increased and 211 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 4 companies are stable.
About Rs 12 billion was traded in the market today. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
