Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Thursday, the last day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 17.53 points to close at 2714.05.
Following the decline, three sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 10 sub-groups decreased. Today, the hydropower group increased by 0.38 percent while the development bank group saw the maximum decline of 2.22 percent.
Shares of 85 companies rose on the day, while 170 companies declined. Today, the share prices of 5 companies are stable.
More than Rs 14.5 billion was traded in the market today. Ngadi Group Power Ltd was the top trader with a turnover of Rs 59.99 crore.
