Kathmandu. The stock market fell by single digits today. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 9.04 points to close at 2641.05.
The NEPSE sub-group has increased by 4 while the sub-group of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 9 percent. The microfinance group was the biggest loser by 0.19 per cent while the trading group was the biggest loser by 0.86 per cent.
Shares of 82 companies rose and 180 declined. Shares of 14 companies remained stable on the day.
On this day, the market was traded worth Rs 3.67 billion. Solu Hydropower Company has been traded the most.
