Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Monday. The NEPSE index increased by 41.70 points to close at 2,719.24.
Following the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 12 sub-groups have increased while one group has fallen. During the day, the production and processing group increased the most by 3.21 percent while the mutual fund group decreased by 0.02 percent.
Shares of 239 companies have increased while 32 companies have fallen. On this day, the share prices of 5 companies are stable.
On this day, more than Rs 5.5 billion was traded in the market. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
