Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 8.30 points to close at 2653.40.
The sub-group of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased while the sub-group of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 8 percent. The finance group was the biggest loser by 1.06 per cent while the banking group fell by 0.96 per cent.
Shares of 103 companies increased and 160 companies declined. Shares of 14 companies remained stable on the day.
On this day, Rs 4.41 billion was traded in the market. Most of the trading was in agricultural bonds.
