KATHMANDU: Today is the last day to apply for debentures worth Rs 3 billion issued by Rastriya Banijya Bank. The company had issued debentures from October 14. Rastriya Banijya Bank has issued debentures named ‘ABBL Debenture-2089’. The bank has issued a total of 30 lakh debentures of Rs 1,000 debenture.
Out of the total number of units, the bank will sell 18 lakh units individually and the remaining 12 lakh units will be issued publicly. Out of the total units to be issued, the bank will set aside 60,000 units, which will be 5 per cent, to the mutual funds. The remaining 11.40 lakh units will be sold to the general public.
In this debenture, the investors can apply for the shares from the banks and financial institutions participating in the C-ASBA service and their designated branches as well as CDSC’s Mero shares.
This is a 7-year term bond. The investor will get 6% interest per annum. Kumari Capital has been appointed as the sale manager for this bond.
