Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal, is set to issue debentures worth Rs 20 billion on January 7.
The central bank is set to issue ‘Nepal Rastra Bank Debenture 2083 ‘ today. The interested investors can apply for the debentures from class ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’.
The debentures will be auctioned till 2 pm today. The interest rate of these bonds will be determined through bidding.
It is a one-year bond. The principal payment will be made on Poush 23, 2083 and the interest will be paid half-yearly.
The interested bidders can bid for the debentures up to a minimum of Rs 5 crore and a maximum of Rs 5 crore.
The debentures can be used as collateral in Nepal Rastra Bank and other banks and financial institutions.
