Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure the dividend of Mountain Energy Nepal. The company has decided to close the book on October 25 for the purpose of dividend and general meeting. This means that the shareholders who have remained in power till October 9 will be eligible to receive the dividend and attend the meeting.
The company has decided to distribute a total dividend of 21.05263 percent of the current paid-up capital to the shareholders from the profit of the financial year. This includes 20 percent bonus shares and 1.05263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The company has called its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 5 to approve the proposed dividend. The shareholders will receive the dividend after the meeting approves the dividend.
