Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have collected more than Rs 200 billion in insurance premiums till mid-July of the fiscal year 2082/83. According to the statistics published by Nepal Insurance Authority, life insurance companies have earned Rs 2.01 billion in insurance premium by selling 1,18,50,391 insurance policies during the period.
During this period, Nepal Life Insurance Company has collected the highest premium. During the period, the company earned Rs 53.68 billion in total insurance premiums. The second is National Life. During the period, the company earned Rs 24.68 billion in total insurance premiums. LIC Nepal is in the third position. During the period, the company collected Rs 21.23 billion in total insurance premiums.
During the period, the company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 18.56 billion. Surya Jyoti Life has collected Rs 12.90 billion in insurance premiums from its quarters. Asian Life Insurance has collected Rs 10.43 billion in insurance premiums from its quarters. The insurance company has collected Rs 9.64 billion in insurance premiums from the current fiscal year.
Citizen Life has collected Rs 9.16 billion in insurance premiums from the current fiscal year. Sanima Life Insurance has collected a total premium of Rs 7.99 billion. IME Life has collected Rs 7.54 billion in insurance premiums from the current fiscal year. Met Life has collected Rs 6.86 billion in insurance premiums from the quarter. KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance has earned Rs 6.42 billion in insurance premiums during the period. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life has collected Rs 6.33 billion in insurance premiums from its company. Sun Nepal Life Insurance has collected Rs 4.63 billion in insurance premiums from the company.
