Similarly, the number of offices of insurers decreased by 0.47 percent till mid-June of the current fiscal year. The number of offices of insurers has decreased to 2,993 in the review period from 3,077 in the previous year. The number of offices of the companies decreased by 14 in a year.
As of mid-June of the current fiscal year, there are 1,838 offices of life insurers and 1,155 offices of non-life insurers.
In the previous year, there were 1,850 life insurers and 1,157 non-life insurers. Compared to the previous year, the number of offices of life insurers decreased by 12 and that of non-life insurers by two.
