Kathmandu. The market capitalization of group indices in the stock market is mixed. Last Fiscal Year 2082 was released by Nepal Rastra Bank. This is what the data of April 83 shows. The market capitalization of 5 groups has decreased compared to the previous year, while the rest of the groups have increased.
According to the statistics, the market capitalization of insurance companies in NEPSE has decreased in the last one year. In the review year, the market capitalization of insurance companies stood at Rs 587.25 billion. This is 9 percent less than the same period last year.
During the review year, the wealth of the investors of the production and processing group has increased. The market capitalization of the group increased by 67 percent to Rs 407.73 billion in the review period compared to the previous year.
Similarly, the market capitalization of the hotel group has increased by 30.8 percent. With this, the market capitalization of the hotel group has reached Rs 155.31 billion.
The market capitalization of the hydropower group has increased by 20.2 percent in the last one year. The market capitalization of the group reached Rs 8.13 billion.
In the last one year, the market capitalization of banking group increased by 10.7 percent, development banks by 7 percent and microfinance by 3.1 percent, while the market capitalization of finance group decreased by 2.5 percent, trade group by 13.3 percent, investment group by 7.3 percent and other groups by 12.4 percent.
Overall, the NEPSE index increased by 6.8 percent to reach Rs 4.656 billion in the last one year.
