Kathmandu. The government is in the coming fiscal year 2083. In the budget of 2018, the limit of personal income tax has been increased to Rs 10 lakh.
Presenting the budget in a joint session of the Federal Parliament today, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle said that the limit of personal income tax has been increased to Rs 10. Similarly, the personal income tax rate has been reduced by 10 percent. Earlier, the limit of personal income tax was Rs 6 lakh.
Similarly, the Finance Minister said that the capital gains tax has been made the final tax in the share market. Currently, individual investors are paying 7.5 percent capital gains tax in the short term and 5 percent in the long term.
