Kathmandu. A special program called ‘The Governor’s Table’ has been held in Kathmandu, focusing on the taste, aroma and sophisticated hospitality associated with whisky.
At the invitation-based event held at Yak & Yeti’s Dynasty Hall on Thursday, the invited guests had the opportunity to learn about the various aspects of whiskey and experience special tastes. The event, organized by Sagar Distillery’s brand ‘The Governor’, was not limited to traditional tasting sessions. The event introduced unique aromas of highland and Speyside style malt, giving information about the color, character and aroma of the whisky.
Guests were then treated to ‘The Governor’ in three different styles: Knit, On the Rocks and Water.
The special combination of dishes that resembled whiskey made the tasting experience more interesting. After the formal tasting session, the event was carried forward in an informal and intimate atmosphere with a grazing table, cocktails, dinner and live ghazal performances.
Organized with the aim of presenting whisky not just as a beverage but with taste, aroma and experience, ‘The Governor’s Table’ has tried to present the brand experience in a different way. The event concluded by incorporating the subtlety of taste, combination of food and quality hospitality in one environment.
