Kathmandu. Current fiscal year 2082. In the 8 months of March 2018, the small life insurer has brought in a business of more than Rs 72 crore.
According to the Nepal Insurance Authority, the existing three micro life insurance companies have brought in a business of Rs 720.9 million till mid-March of the current fiscal year. Crest Micro Life was the top gainer in the market during this period. The company has issued 5,44,160 policies and earned a total premium of Rs 25.88 crore.
Similarly, Guardian Micro Life has collected Rs 25.61 crore in insurance premiums. The number of active insurance policies of the company is 14,59,862.
Similarly, Liberty Micro Life has collected Rs 20.59 crore in insurance premium. The number of active insurance policies of the company is 3,49,926.
