Kathmandu. An investor awareness program has been organized in Kawasoti of Nawalpur with the objective of providing information about the stock market and investment to the students.
On the occasion of World Investor Week 2026, the Daldale branch of Sunny Securities Company (Broker No. 42) organized a program with the participation of 56 students studying at Madhyabindu Multiple Campus. In the program, information was given about the introduction of the stock market, basic aspects of investing, primary and secondary markets, demat account, my share and the process of trading shares through brokers. The students were also informed about the precautions to be taken while investing.
Suman Adhikari and Pawan Poudel, managers of Sunny Securities, briefed the students about the stock market and investment. The students had queries related to investment and stock market.
Principal of Madhyabindu Multiple Campus, Ganesh Man Giri, gave an inspiring and introductory speech about the stock market targeted to the participating students. Assistant Principal Dr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Assistant Principal Surendra MC and program coordinator Bhanu Aryal were present in the program.
SUNY Securities said in a statement that it will continue such programs in the coming days with an aim to increase financial literacy and awareness among students and general public.
